Our vision is to cultivate a dance bloodline of students who carry forward the true spirit of Whacking. More than recognition or global celebration, our purpose is to prepare and shape the next generation before these styles become commercialized beyond recognition. We commit to protecting Waacking’s cultural integrity while developing dancers who thrive in identity, awareness, and self-expression, keeping the essence alive for generations.

The University of Waacking:
- Preserves and honors Waacking’s cultural legacy, spotlighting its origins in 1970s LA underground clubs shaped by Black and Brown queer creatives.

The Dancer/Teacher certification program goes beyond dance steps.It covers the history, culture, technique, strategies, musicality, performance artistry, and cultural legacy of Waacking.
- Level I establishes foundation, vocabulary, and history.
- Level II deepens artistry, pedagogy, and creative application.
- Level III focuses on mastery—performance phrasing, emotional storytelling, fusion theory, teaching methodology.
This program is for dancers who are serious about learning the art form at a professional level. .
